Buff Dillard

Born into a musical bloodline, at the age of six, Buff sparked an interest for singing, drums and playing brass instruments. By the age of twelve he developed more of a passion to play the trombone and decided to focus on mastering the slide.

As a student of Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, his gift allowed him to perform with the Philadelphia All-City Jazz Band, attend jazz workshops instructed by the celebrated jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, performed with jazz sensation Pieces of a Dream as well as the legendary Count Basie Band. Buff has also worked with the Prince of Gospel, Pastor John P. Kee and featured as a soloist on the Strength and New Divine Destiny projects.

Buff has performed with, and opened for artists such as Shirley Caesar, Helen Baylor, The Williams Brothers, Angela Christie, Charles Wolfork, Vashawn Mitchell, SOS Band, Jasmine Sullivan, Kevon Edmonds of After 7, Willie Clayton, Dave Holister, Faith Evans, Jazz violinist Miles Jay Walter Beasley and Boney James. He has released a number of   independent projects and has hosted a jazz radio show titled Jazzable Moments with Mr. Bonejazz on WGIV in Charlotte North Carolina. He continues his career as a trombonist, independent recording artist and CEO of Bonejazz Entertainment.
