Born in Queens, NY Tommy began piano lessons at the age of 4. Realizing that he had an incredible “ear for music” Tommy’s grandfather became his music teacher for the next 10 years. At the age of 14 he became involved with a local church youth ministry as the keyboardist. After being a member of the music ministry for 3 years Tommy became co-director of the church choir. His position as music director at the church naturally led him to become a very busy piano teacher for several years.
As an under graduate at Long Island University, CW Post, Tommy had the opportunity to study vocals with D. Michael Heath. After earning a B.F.A in Arts Management and was employed as production coordinator for the Long Island Philharmonic Orchestra for 7 years. Tommy had the pleasure of working closely with major artists such as James Taylor, Brian Wilson, Yes, The Moody Blues, Arlo Guthrie, and Countless world-class classical and Broadway musicians. These talented artists were his primary influence to pursue a career as a professional musician.
Tommy began his professional music career performing as a keyboardist & singer more than 15 years ago in Long Island, NY. He has been a member of various successful bands over the years, and has performed and recorded throughout the Eastern United States. His expressive keyboard playing and vocal precision have put him in high demand in the greater Charlotte area since moving from New York in 2008.
