Q. What style of music do you play?
A. Rock, pop, dance, country.
Q. How many pieces do you typically play as and what instruments are they?
A. 6 piece band, which includes guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, electric violin and vocals. We have 3 lead singers. Some of our musicians are multi-instrumentalists, which gives our show an extra layer of excitement with instrument changes.
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. For the full experience, we book as a 6-piece band which includes electric violin. This gives another layer that is very unique to the Crystal Aria sound.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. I (bandleader Allison Rose) started singing and dancing on stage at the age of 5 in NY after watching my first broadway play and falling in love with the stage. I was in awe of how performers could connect and evoke emotion in the audience. I was in a touring theatre group and then begun singing and dancing competitively regionally and nationally through high school. The stage has always felt like a second home to me. Any job I’ve ever worked (banking, behind the scenes in film/TV, etc.) I’ve always had a band and worked in events as well. In 2013, I took a leap to work in entertainment full time. I’ve performed in multiple bands nationally throughout my career as have other talented members of this band (some internationally). I feel very blessed every time I perform with Crystal Aria. This band is next level in skill and I am so grateful for the musical talent of every member. Each musician brings extensive experience to our show, which makes performing every song so fulfilling.

A. Yes, we would be willing to travel anywhere in the US and beyond.
