A. I am a solo act and play 6- and 12-string acoustic guitar and harmonica
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. No
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. Having parents who loved classical music, and two older sisters who loved rock and pop, I was introduced to a wide range of music at an early age. Those early experiences ignited a passion that I’ve carried throughout my entire life. When career and financial opportunities, along with a supporting wife, allowed for it, I took the leap into full-time performing and haven’t looked back!

A. Matthews, NC
Q. Do you travel?
A. Yes – up to an hour’s drive (give or take)
Q. Why should an event professional book you?
A. I’m a professional. I have a great repertoire and sound, a fun and easy-going rapport with my audience, and even provide copies of my song list (when appropriate) so that people who come to see me can request their favorite tunes to sing along and dance with. I can tailor my performance to high-energy locations or the most intimate, family-friendly settings. I always arrive early to ensure a complete set-up and on-time start, I don’t drink while I perform, and I can assure my clients a professional appearance and presentation.
Q. Do you have the capability of providing your own sound & lights?
A. Yes. My lighting is fairly minimal considering I am a solo performer.
