A. A duo option is also available. This will consist of Elliott on acoustic guitar and lead vocals with a partner playing cajon (percussion) and singing backup vocals.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. After I started learning guitar at a young age, I realized early on that I also had a propensity for singing as well as playing guitar. I’ve found that this combination has given me numerous opportunities to perform and keep a full performing schedule. I love the feeling of providing exactly what a client is looking for. When I get feedback from someone who has really enjoyed what I’ve done for them or their event, it means the world to me. I’ve found that the combination of being a talented performer and also being an organized, business-minded individual can lead to having a successful career as a performer. I love performing, and I also love business. While much of my business “itch” is scratched by my music school, I look at “Elliott Morgan Music” as a micro business for which I am the sole employee and running that business is extremely satisfying to me.

A. Yes – 2 hours max radius from Spartanburg, depending on the details of the event.

When you book me, you’re getting a top tier vocalist and tenured guitar player that will cater to exactly what you are wanting for your event. I take what I do very seriously and strive to provide the highest quality possible, regardless of where I’m performing. This is why I typically play all songs from memory and, while I do keep additional songs available electronically for requests, I find that my best performance is displayed when I know what I’m playing like the back of my hand. This also allows me to remain engaged with the audience, read the room to make the best decision on next songs, and focus on providing a high quality performance and not be distracted by reading lyrics or chords while playing.
My performances are varied in genre and dynamic to make sure that audiences are entertained, engaged, and satisfied. While I typically play several genres throughout the course of my performances, I’m always willing to adjust depending on what a client is looking for.
