Los Trabuccos is an exciting Latin Band specializing in Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and other styles of Hispanic Caribbean music.

Los Trabuccos have been in the Charlotte area for the past 25 years and have most recently done events like the CPCC Spring Festival, UNCC’s International Festival, Calle 5 Festival, Uptown performances, multiple weddings, parties and much more.

Their Leader and Director, Roberto Alvarez is from the island of Cuba as is their guitar player, Manuel Esquivel and pianist Alex Penate. But we don’t stop at just that island. Our flautist, Tommy Lopez is from Puerto Rico as is our Conga player Victor Sierra. Our singer, Ms. Lissette Nunez is from Santo Domingo, our bass player Tony Anaya is from Peru and our timbales percussionist from Guatemala, Mr. Gustavo Juarez. This unique combination of Latin countries produces a unique sound and energy with Los Trabuccos that must be heard and seen to believe.
