Q. What style of music do you play?
A. New Kids – Super Fly 90s Tribute Band plays all things 1990s – Madonna, Garth, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Alanis. Hootie. etc… Check out our song list!
Q. How many pieces are typically in the band and what instruments are they?
A. We have 6 members total:
- Natalie-Lead Vocals
- Jordan-Lead Vocals
- Jake – Lead guitar & vocals
- Dave – Synths & Keyboards
- Jim – Bass and Vocals
- Mike – Drums and percussion
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. New Kids only plays as a 6 piece band so you get the full experience every time.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. I [band leader, Mike] have been a professional musician for over 25 years because I love playing drums and love doing shows. I’m also a F/T drum instructor and own a music school in Matthews, NC. New Kids is the sister band of Kids in America – Totally 80s Tribute Band. Since we have much success and love the 90s just as much as the 80s, it just made sense for us to do a 90s Tribute Band as well.

Q. Do you travel?
A. Yes, New Kids will travel anywhere in the US, and overseas as well.
Q. Why should an event professional book you?
A. We cover all the styles of 90s music and we’re high energy and enjoy getting the crowd involved. Not only do we take a lot of pride in re-producing an exact replica of the 90s songs we cover, we also dress the part in all 90s attire for a complete show including costume changes.
Q. Do you have the capability of providing your own sound & lights?
A. Yes we have our own sound and lighting guy.
