A. Answered by band leader, John Floyd – My parents were both musicians, so from as far as I can remember music was always a part of my life. The reason I started Next Level Band of Charlotte was because when I came off the road as a musical director for stage plays, I saw a void in the local music scene. Music is a universal language that can be comprehended by every species on the planet. It shouldn’t be catered to a specific group or age range. Music is a conduit that should have the power to change even a negative atmosphere into a positive one.
