Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. I (bandleader, Mike Ramsey) have done it all my life and don’t know what else I’m cut out for at this point. I love playing in new places and meeting new people constantly. I love playing and collaborating with different musicians constantly. Most of all, nothing bothers me when I’m in the middle of a show. Music is the best way I’ve found to tune the world out.
