The Big Time Band is a high energy, interactive party band formed in 2018. The group travels all over the Southeast, mainly performing at private events like weddings and corporate functions but also packing out large public venues like Lexington, SC’s Icehouse Amphitheater.

Q. What style of music do you play?
A. Party/Dance hits from almost every genre.
Q. How many pieces do you typically play as and what instruments are they?
A. Our full band consists of 9 very talented musicians including: drums, bass, guitar, 2 keyboard players, saxophone, trumpet, and 3 primary lead vocalists (2 male & 1 female). 6 of our musicians lead at least one song. When booking the full 9-piece band, you also get a Pro-Level DJ/MC with nearly 20 years of experience absolutely free!
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. We also offer a 7-piece option (without horns) that still plays all of the same songs but with one of our keyboard players covering the horn parts. Not as realistic as actual horns but still great. When booking the 7-piece band, we will also provide a professional emcee at no additional cost.
Additionally, we can provide an instrumental configuration of the band, ranging from a solo musician, duo, trio, and even a quartet instrumental version of the band. All of these options are great for cocktail receptions and dinners.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. All of the musicians in our band started at a very early age so music has been our lives. We all have such a passion for music because not only does it bring joy to our souls but it also puts smiles on our faces! While each musician had different paths, we know there was one thing we all had in common and that is we all know Jesus Christ. We say a prayer before every rehearsal and every show, and we end it with “let us put a smile on someone’s face and bring joy to their soul.” We truly believe that the reason we all became professional musicians and He placed each musician in this band is to put a smile on your face and joy in your soul.
