Four authentically Victorian-costumed carolers bring your favorite traditional and holiday tunes to life, and take your guests back in time to their best holiday memories.
Few things elicit the winter holiday spirit as much as carolers that look like they emerged straight from a Norman Rockwell painting.
The Holiday Singers FAQs
Q. What style of music do you play?
A. We sing traditional and jazzy holiday carols.
Q. How many pieces do you typically play as and what instruments are they?
A. We typically perform in soprano/alto/tenor/bass (a capella quartet) format.
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. We normally perform only as quartets or double/triple quartets, as our arrangements are written for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. In special circumstances, we can perform as a trio or duo, but it’s the exception and doesn’t give our arrangements full expression.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. Most of us have sung nearly all our lives – some of us with music degrees or other advanced training – and cherish the joy of making music as a group. Dressing up in Dickens-style outfits and lending our voices to the spirit of the holiday season is a gratifying way to use our talents fruitfully.
Q. Where are you located?
A. In the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Q. Do you travel?
A. Yes, generally within a two-hour drive.
Q. Why should an event professional book you?
A. Few things elicit the Christmas spirit as much as the sounds of caroling. As Victorian-costumed a capella singers, we’ll bring your favorite traditional and popular holiday carols to life, taking your guests back in time to their best holiday memories. And without the need for equipment, we can perform anywhere – outdoors, indoors, one-on-one, or for a crowd. We can surprise your host, greet your guests, stroll the party, or perform on a stage. Bringing cheer your guests will remember is our specialty.
Q. Do you have the capability of providing your own sound & lights?
A. Not ordinarily; we’d have to rent. If our host wants us amplified and lit, they usually provide the mics and lights.
“It was so wonderful!! They were so kind and did such a great job – thank you so much!”
