Flashback The Party Band was founded in 1997 by Monty Johnston and Dwane Abney, who first began performing together as music students at Lander University. Since then, the band has built a long history of entertaining audiences throughout the Southeast.

Flashback takes guests through decades of crowd favorites, from Motown, beach music, and disco to today’s pop hits. The show is interactive, energetic, and designed to keep the dance floor moving from song to song.

The band combines experienced musicians, strong vocals, clever choreography, and carefully arranged medleys to create a polished live show. Each member brings years of performance experience, versatility, and stage presence to every event.

The core lineup features Dwane Abney on lead vocals, horns, and keyboards; Eunice Yu and Reggie Brown on lead vocals; Arda Bagcioglu on guitar; Dave Starr on drums; Monty Johnston on keyboards and horns; and Jeff Langston on bass and vocals.
