Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. Band can scale up to 6 by adding female vocalist and tenor saxophone for special shows.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. I (bandleader Steve) started buying music when I was only 12 years old. I got my love of music from my mom who loved music and had it on in the car and the house all of the time. To this day, a song can bring me right back to where I originally heard it. I was never without music and that led to a strong desire to pick up an instrument and mimic my musical heroes.
By high school, casual meetups with friends soon became garage band rehearsals, which led to performances at keg parties. Moving from high school to college weeded out the less serious musicians, leaving us similarly afflicted buddies to re-form into groups with more experience and drive that eventually led to bar gigs…for money as soon as I was old enough to get in. I discovered Pink Floyd during this time and Dark Side of the Moon became my absolute favorite
After college, I struck out and joined friends in the real world. A marketing background came in handy as we built a large following hustling “pay to play” tickets nightly in order to bring the crowd that would bring bigger and better shows. We had the time of our lives working relentlessly and playing whenever we could.
When creating a financial future beyond what I could make playing, I focused on additional career pursuits for many years, making money and setting up the future… but always with the radio on and an instrument close at hand.
As one’s career evens out, the time to pursue the love of music opens wider. Along with the abilities that constant practice has brought, comes the opportunity to play with better and better fellow band members. One day you realize that your projects have risen to a professional level. Demand for your participation and performance keeps growing and eventually the day job seems less important. This is what led me to the decision to eventually be a professional musician; to earn money while spending time doing what I love.

A. We are willing to travel up to 4 hours from Charlotte.

Pink Floyd has one of the most loyal and multi-generational fan followings in rock history. Their music attracts everyone from Baby Boomers who grew up with Dark Side of the Moon to younger fans discovering the band through streaming, film, and greatly from the influence of their parents have given them. The number of kids walking around with a PINK FLOYD T-shirt on is astounding, and the really surprising part is that many of them are big fans of the band. The music of Pink Floyd is timeless and endures more than any other band–arguably even The Beatles.

We are a group of seasoned musicians who have performed together in various projects and lineups for many years. Our long history of collaboration gives us the tight musical chemistry and precision that Pink Floyd’s music demands. Our shared passion for this legendary band drives everything we do on stage. Each of us has spent decades honing our craft, both individually and together, to recreate the authentic sound, atmosphere, and emotion that fans expect.
But this show is more than just a music performance — it’s an immersive experience. Complementing the music is our light and laser shows with fog machines (where applicable) which create a visual element that perfectly complements Pink Floyd’s music.
