J’Michael Peeples is arguably the best smooth jazz and funk/R&B guitar player in the Carolinas. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, J’Michael regularly performs in North and South Carolina, as well as other parts of the Southeast.

A. I’m a contemporary jazz musician/singer-songwriter.

A. Depending on the event, the J’Michael Peeples band can consist of a small intimate trio (guitar, bass, drums) up to a 7 piece band (guitar, bass, drums, key boards, and full horn section).
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. For a more intimate occasion, I can play solo or as a duo.

A . Being a contemporary jazz musician is a passion that consumes me daily. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
