A. We are a Tom Petty tribute band.
Q. How many pieces do you typically play as and what instruments are they?
A. We are a five-piece band. Instruments include electric, acoustic, and bass guitars; piano and organ; drums and harmonica.
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. On occasion we may add female backup singer(s).
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. I (bandleader HC Oakes) have a passion for music and love listening to and playing all types. As a teenager, I became an avid album collector and started singing and playing in bands with a dream of becoming a rock and roll star. Although college and providing for a family prevailed, I always kept music as one of the cornerstones of my life. Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers is one of my favorite all time bands so forming a tribute band in their honor is a natural fit.

A. Yes. Anywhere in the USA.

A. Everyone loves Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers as their music spans four decades, has millions of streams and is played daily on radio stations worldwide. Petty Rewind is a group of seasoned musicians duplicating as close as possible the nuances that make the original songs so unique and enjoyable. We provide a concert-like experience with each show and will have the audience singing and dancing while wanting more.
