The Square Roots duo has been performing for over 18 years. Full time musician, Christina Raine leads the group, and uses her longtime connections in the local music industry to configure the perfect ensemble for your event – from solo performances, to a duo or trio. They have a song list that is vast and varied, they play music from the ’60s to today.
Playing Pop, Soul, Funk, R&B, Old School Country, and Top 40, Square Roots duo puts their own twist on the songs we all know and love. They play all types of events from small intimate settings, to dinner parties, corporate events, private gatherings, weddings and outdoor amphitheaters. Square Roots will bring whatever you need to your event, they can keep things classic and subtle, or bring a full band sound with live looping and drum sounds. A. We cover a wide range of style and genre. From Americana, Pop to Rock, Old school country, Blues, and some jazz. Easy Answer 70’s on up to today. Set lists can be curated bands on your event and demographic needs.

A. 2 pieces – Acoustic, electric or keys depending on your event needs.

A. They say you should follow your passion, love what you do. If you follow that, you will never work a day in your life. Melodies, Poetry,
& Rhythm’s… music is the one thing you could always count on. Being able to take a passion and turn it into your living has been quite joyful.

We are not your typical duo and our song list reflects that – it’s long, vast, varied & unique. From Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Prince to Lady GaGa, which allows us to bring just the right touch and ambience to your event. We run the gamut between genre and decade. From cherished vocal melodies, to instrumentals. Square Roots is a two piece act with the ability to sound like a five-piece band.
