Magician and author Steve Vaught delights, stuns, and puzzles corporate audiences, taking a sincere and crafted approach with his magic show rather than recycling old tricks.
EXPERIENCE MYSTERY — LIVE.
Some experiences entertain you. Others leave you wondering.
Steve Vaught creates the second kind. Blending sleight of hand, psychological mystery, storytelling and audience interaction, Steve creates an experience rooted in the traditions of magic, while inviting audiences to step briefly into a world where the ordinary becomes strangely unfamiliar.
There are no elaborate illusions or over-the-top magician theatrics. The objects are often remarkably simple—a length of rope, a coin, a playing card, an envelope.
The mystery happens with the people in the room.
Experience Built in Front of Real Audiences
Based in Charlotte, Steve’s performances have taken him from the South Bend Symphony Orchestra in Indiana to the acclaimed Chicago Magic Lounge, and closer to home, to Blumenthal Arts’ presentation of The Magician’s Table.
His work also includes corporate events, weddings, private engagements and television appearances.
Different rooms. Different audiences. The same objective: create an experience that feels personal, impossible and worth remembering.
Close-Up Magic
For cocktail hours, receptions and private events, Steve moves naturally among your guests creating intimate moments of impossible magic only inches away.
There is no stage and no formal seating required. Small groups experience the magic directly in their own hands. It is refined, personal entertainment that becomes part of the event rather than interrupting it.
The Stand-Up Experience
For groups from an intimate gathering to a larger corporate audience, Steve offers a theatrical stand-up performance combining magic, mentalism, stories and audience participation.
The show requires surprisingly little equipment or staging. The emphasis isn’t on elaborate props.
It’s on creating impossible moments with the people already in the room.
