A. Pop, jazz, R&B, soul, yacht rock, etc.
Q. How many pieces do you typically play as and what instruments are they?
A. This band is three pieces, consisting of piano/vocals, drums, and bass guitar.
Q. Do you play in other configurations?
A. This band is three pieces. Our sister band – 5 Of A Kind has the additions of electric guitar and saxophone.
Q. Why did you become a professional musician?
A. It’s sort of in your soul from the time you start playing and start developing a love for performing. I can’t imagine doing anything else as a career. It’s truly the best job, and I’m very grateful every time I’m able to play music, entertain, and make people happy.

A. Charlotte, NC.
Q. Do you travel?
A. Yes. We’re willing to travel anywhere where it makes sense for us to do so.
Q. Why should an event professional book you?
A. “With 3 Of A Kind, you’re all set.”3 Of A Kind is a very experienced group with unmatched versatility. Everyone in our group has extensive experience as bandleaders in various groups over the years. Everyone has experience working with event professionals, understanding the role we play in making an event an unforgettable one. We have been professional musicians most of our lives. Music is our passion. It’s something we all love, and we’ve been fortunate to gain the experience to be able to hone and craft every aspect of what we do. On a side note – as a trio leader, I’ve worked at least twice weekly in this configuration for the past six years straight playing for high-end clientele in an environment where night-to-night the vibe could change completely. Because of that, we’ve played almost every kind of music imaginable. It’s really a blast for us.

A. Yes.
