Dear Key Signature Family,
We at Key Signature Entertainment understand the effect that COVID-19 is having on events and the event industry. We continue to monitor this situation closely and see that the circumstances are fluid and change everyday. We choose to stand by our motto “Good People, Good Music” during this time understanding that we are in the people business first and the music business second. We are working every day since this pandemic started with clients and musicians to make sure everyone feels safe and stays healthy.
- To slow the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and reduce the number of people infected, Gov. Roy Cooper on March 14 issued Executive Order 117, which mandates that organizers of events that draw more than 100 people cancel, postpone or modify these events or offer online streaming services. - The CDC, in accordance with its guidance for large events and mass gatherings, recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States. Source: CDC
Key Signature Entertainment will do our part and allow the rescheduling of any booked events happening through the end of April, 2020. Any events that cannot be rescheduled for unique reasons will be looked at on a case by case basis. We will be working towards a mutually beneficial agreement between client and musician in each case hoping that it is understood that the livelihood of full-time musicians are in jeopardy during this time. We don’t use #ksefamily lightly and will continue to work with our chosen family through the good times and bad. Let’s all get through this together.
Sincerely,
Brandon Crumpton, President
